Welcome to the Finchley Horticultural Society! We welcome anyone with an interest in growing their own flowers, fruit or vegetables whatever their age or ability.

Subscription Rates

Annual subscription rates:

• £8 individual standard
• £5 individual senior (over 60 years of age)

The subscription year is the calendar year 1st January – 31st December. If you join after 1st October your membership will be credited to the remainder of the current year and the whole of the following year.

How to Apply

To become a Member print out and complete a membership application form. Return this with your subscription to the FHS Membership Secretary, 40 Hutton Grove, Finchley, London N12 8DT.

Benefits of Membership

• Allotments: Provision of allotments on three sites in Finchley.
• Activities: An annual programme of activities.
• Garden Visits: Visits to gardens of outstanding interest, often with our own guided tour.
• Trading Hut: Gardening products available at competitive rates at our Trading Hut on the Gordon Road Allotments. The Hut is open on Sunday mornings, 10.30am – 12.30pm during the spring and summer months.
• Discount: A 10% discount on plants and seeds at Finchley Nurseries on production of an FHS membership card.
• Social Events: Social events including a barbecue.
• Newsletter: A regular newsletter “The Grapevine” with local news of interest to gardeners.
• Plant Sale: An annual plant sale in May offering a wide variety of good quality plants at very reasonable prices
